Refund Policy

Individual plans · Paddle is the Merchant of Record
Unused Full Version purchases and renewals can be refunded within 14 days. After use, payments are final unless the law or Paddle provides otherwise. This policy applies to individual plans bought through Paddle, not to Institutions.
1. Who sells the paid plan
- Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders of individual plans. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to payment and handles returns.
- Refunds are paid by Paddle to your original payment method. To request one, reply to your Paddle receipt, use paddle.net, or write to contact@easyo.app and we will arrange it with Paddle.
- Institutional plans are invoiced directly and are not covered by this policy (see Terms of Service, section 16).
2. 14‑day refund if the Full Version was not used
Within 14 days of the first purchase or of an automatic renewal, you can request a full refund of that charge if the Full Version was not used during that period. Not used means all of the following:
- no availability was submitted through your public form (/t/<slug>);
- no timetable was generated;
- no generated timetable was exported (for example as an Excel file).
We check this using counts in your account (for example how many form replies and generations there were), not the content of your timetable or of the replies. After a refund, the account switches to Starter.
3. After use
- The Full Version starts as soon as payment succeeds; by purchasing, you ask us to start immediately.
- Once the Full Version has been used as described above, or after 14 days, the payment is final. This does not apply where mandatory law or Paddle's process grants a refund, in particular if the Full Version has a material defect that we cannot fix within a reasonable time after you report it.
- Buying the Full Version to collect availability, generate or export and then requesting a refund is misuse; such requests are declined as far as the law and Paddle allow.
4. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time in Settings or through the Paddle customer portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current year, and you keep the Full Version until the year ends.
5. What is not a reason for a refund
- lesson lengths, frequencies or minimum rules you set that cannot be met;
- students giving too little availability for the hours you want to teach;
- the generator not placing everyone under impossible rules;
- students being unhappy with your teaching offer.
These are not defects of EasyO (see Terms of Service, section 11).
6. Billing errors and chargebacks
- Double charges and clear billing errors are corrected through Paddle; contact us or Paddle.
- Please contact us before opening a card chargeback. In a dispute, we and Paddle may use account records such as the number of form replies and generations, not the content of your timetable.
7. Your statutory rights
- This policy does not limit your statutory rights. If you are a consumer in the EU or the United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right of withdrawal, which Paddle administers as the seller under its buyer terms. Swiss law does not provide a general right of withdrawal for online purchases.
- The German and English versions are binding; if they differ, the German version prevails.
